Since 2025, I have been serving as a Professor at the Faculty of Information Science, Osaka Institute of Technology, while also holding the title of Professor Emeritus at Kobe University.
My research focuses on systems science, social informatics, and production systems engineering, aiming to contribute to smart manufacturing and solutions to social challenges.
With a strong emphasis on bridging technology and society, I strive to provide a practical and creative learning environment.
In our laboratory, we integrate model-driven approaches from systems science with data-driven methods from data science to address increasingly complex societal issues.
Through a flexible research style that connects theory and practice, we explore methodologies for co-creative design in future societies where information technology is deeply embedded in everyday life.
